- As a representative of Training Pros, served in a variety of roles (Consultant, Instructional Designer, Developer, Video Producer, Graphic Designer, Quality Assurance) to develop a VILT courses to a technical audience (United States Corps of Engineers).
Specifically tasked with:
o Development of 508-compliant VILT training courses for the United States Corps of Engineers (USACE).
o Review and development of assets, graphics, videos, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, job aids, and exercises, based upon existing content.
o Tracking and regression of all logged issues and change requests identified by HDR quality assurance, Schnabel technical review, and USACE subject matter experts.
o Collaborating on the development of effective and efficient HDR team workflows for development of training assets to account for needs associated with 508 compliance and USACE technical requirements.
o Participation in, review of, and recommendations made, of all virtual course sessions led by USACE instructors for assigned courses.
Outcomes and Impact:
• Successful development and launch of the DLS 105, 107, and 201 training series.
• Successful export and delivery of over 25 on-demand training videos supporting the DLS 104 release, totaling over 30 hours of instruction.
• Video production and material development supporting DLS 108, 109, 203, and 208 course series, totaling in excess of 100 learning assets.
• Work is ongoing.
